“The Bluebird of Happiness” is a musical adaptation of the play written by Belgian playwright and Nobel Prize Winner, Maurice Maeterlinck.
It is a story about a brother and a sister, Mytyl and Tyltyl, who go on a quest for the magical blue bird, which leads them to exciting adventures and meet enchanting characters that helps them learn a heartwarming and valuable lesson.
In Christmas of 2013, Asia's premiere Christian theater group, TRUMPETS brought the story to the stage for the new generation to enjoy, under the direction of Jaime Del Mundo and original music by Rony Fortich. This production has received numerous acclamations and rave reviews for its captivating story, music, talented cast, and magical production design. In 2014, “The Bluebird of Happiness” flew to Hong Kong. The performances received positive comments from audiences and reviews.
In October 2015, “The Bluebird of Happiness” will take flight again in Hong Kong, presented by MQ Musical Theater, a musical theatre company that has been promoting fun family entertainment to Hong Kong audiences, young and old, since 2002.
