Zurich University of the Arts is launching the Diploma of Advanced Studies ‘Executive Education on Global Culture’ in Hong Kong in March 2017 with the first 5-days course focussing on Curating and Social Change.

International Curating Workshop: Curating and Social Change

The possibilities and limitations of critical and curatorial practice.

Fees: CHF 800 / HKD 6,500

The workshop will emphasize the question of how to connect social change with curatorial practice. The participants will be young curators from different countries who have started to develop their own curatorial projects. In this way, the dialogue of the participants with different social, political, and cultural backgrounds will be challenging and fruitful in Hong Kong. The workshop will culminate in a presentation/exhibition of concepts by the workshop participants and a video installation showing excerpts from a video archive with interviews of 52 international curators. 

The Course is registered as a Non-local Course by the Education Bureau of HKSAR under the Registration Number 272703. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.
