1967 Riots is the Watershed of Hong Kong History. Countless strikes and homemade bombs scattered for more than 6 months. Thousands of people were injured, dead, or arrested. It prompted the government to improve its governance.
In 2014, Pants comprised interviews, news clippings and documents and created an documentary theatre production 1967, which was highly acclaimed by critics and audience:
“Seven actors play a diversity of roles via narration, monologues, news clippings and voice over, depicting the process of the riots in multiple angles and historical moments......” Ivan Yeung, lecturer of the Hong Kong City University
The recording of this play was put on screen in Toronto & Vancouver, as well as Hong Kong Asia Film Festival 2018.
