【Event Cancellation】“Arts Administrator 101” Series - Community Arts Engagement in Design Thinking
Presented by: Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association
Co-organizer: Hong Kong Design Centre
Design Thinking is a process of creative problem solving, with an emphasis to focus on the people they are creating for. Design thinking has been increasingly embraced by the world of business, social creative industry and education over the last decades. If the model is adaptable into different business, can we use it to design our community arts programme?
HKAAA is happy to have Ms. Sam Lam, Director of Business Development & Projects of Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), to kick off our 2019/20 “Arts Administrator 101 Series”. Sam will lead the workshop and go through the design thinking process with the participants, together exploring the possibilities of community arts.
Sam has over 18 years of experience in public relations, media, branding and curating and managing arts and cultural projects. Since joining HKDC in 2014, Sam mainly focus working on the flagship programmes of HKDC, including #ddHK, city and community programmes of Business of Design Week (BODW).
