West Kowloon Cultural District Freespace
Freespace is the second performing venue that is under operation and managed by West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. By definition, Freespace is a free and creative facility where artists and audiences will engage, exchange ideas and explore the endless possibilities of performing arts with no boundaries.
HKAAA is offering an exclusive cultural tour to Freespace on 1 Feb 2020, allowing members of HKAAA to visit the facilities and understand the design concept of Freespace. Participants will meet Mr. Rae Wu, Senior Manager, Technical and Production (Performing Arts) of WKCDA, who will explain how the technical facilities are able to accommodate the needs of different performances. The guided tour will be led by Ms. Alison M Friedman, Acting Executive Director, Performing Arts and Artistic Director (Performing Arts) of WKCDA.
