Chi-Chung Ho

Hailed by critics, Ho has earned the reputation of "providing first-rate music with the orchestra" ( The States News, Michigan State, U.S.A. ) Acknowledged by David Zinman and Tan Dun as "…very talented and musical… his excitement and passion for music inspired the musicians", and "having my absolute confidence as a conductor and musician", he has proven his success in orchestral ( Western & Chinese ), opera, as well as choral conducting.
 
Soon after he was pursuing the master and doctoral degree at University of Michigan ( Ann Arbor ) and Peabody Conservatory, he has already held conducting positions at the Baltimore Opera, Peabody Opera, Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and orchestras among the United States, Europe and Asia. He was appointed as Tan Dun' Assistant Conductor at Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as Assistant Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra.
 
Ho has received direct guidance from legendary conductors such as Gustav Meier, Claudio Abbado, Yuri Temirkanov, Edo de Waart, Marin Alsop, Huichang Yan, and Tsung Yeh.  His orchestral composition was commissioned and premiered by the Kaohsiung Chinese Orchestra ( Taiwan ) in 2019 with tremendous success.  Ho is currently the music director and conductor of the Musica Brava and the Hong Kong International Youth Performing Arts Festival ( Taiwan Region ).
