【Hong Kong Sinfonieitta & French May Arts Festival】Good Music @ The Fringe: Gabriel Pidoux – Paris au temps du Bœuf sur le toit Hong Kong Sinfonietta

With his “warmth of the tone, the suppleness of the phrase and the sincerity of the expression” (Diapason), French oboist Gabriel Pidoux is one of the most exciting oboists to watch today. He brings a spectacular recital which turns The Fringe Club Dairy into Le Bœuf sur le toit, a glamorous cabaret bar which reigned as the centre of Paris’ avant-garde art scene during the Années folles, playing sparkling works by members of Les Six – Poulenc, Durey, Auric and Tailleferre – who frequented the legendary bar to share their ideas.
