Rebecca Wong.

Rebecca Wong, graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in modern dance with first class honours in 2003. During her study at the Academy, she was awarded numeous scholarships and participated in cultural exchange performances in the United Kingdom, Germany, Brisbane, Amsterdam, Australia, Manila, Malaysia, Singapore and Macau, among others. In the same year she was funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club to further her study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Wong has collaborated with a number of arts organisations, including Hong Kong Arts Festival, Guangdong Modern Dance Company, CCDC Dance Centre, Unlock Dancing Plaza, Dance Art, Passoverdance, Y-Space, E-side Modern Dance Company, Tumble Dance Company and ABA Productions. During 2007 and 2008 she worked with Bode Lawal’s Sakoba Dance Theatre in the U.K. as a full time performer. Her recent choreographic works include Hits or Miss in Hong Kong and Guangzhou(2009), You are Special (2010), Right Here Right Now (2011), and I am Here in Dance Day 2012 and a site specific performance for the HKAPA In…Dark (2012). Wong is currently a freelance dancer and dance instructor.
