The Illumino Singers

The Illumino Singers is a student-led choir formed in response to the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on music-making. Our goal is to share the artful beauty of choral music with the public through our voices. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the choir has maintained its dedication to educating choristers and nurturing future choral leaders by providing a platform for future pillars in the industry an opportunity to realise their learning, and offering intensive professional training and rehearsals in preparation for our summer concert. Furthermore, it is a tradition for us to grant opportunities for talented student conductors to conduct in our concert with the assistance from our principal conductor from each year’s project, so as to allow potential future choral leaders to enrich their conducting experience and shine their talents.
