Pre-performance Workshop 1      (Ages 11-15)

*At least 2 years of dance experience

The role of Giselle is one of the most sought-after in ballet. A ballerina must have near perfect technique, outstanding grace and excellent drama skills. Join us as we explore Giselle’s production background with the Hong Kong Ballet team and closely examine the production’s exquisite costumes. Additionally, participants will learn some movement from the actual production, so that you too can personally experience Giselle’s thrill and passion!

Pre-performance Workshop 2    (Ages 6-11)

*No prior dance experience is necessary

Want to learn more about one of the world’s most famous classical ballets? Children ages 6-11 can enjoy a fun, interactive Giselle workshop with engaging storytelling, dramatic acting and original costumes displays from the production. This workshop will introduce participants to Giselle’s main characters, storyline and background and help them to understand and appreciate the art of ballet more. Children will engage in hands-on activities and even learn some ballet movements from Giselle!
