In this webinar, Amy will offer some insight into the processes underpinning her dance-making practice, which is deeply informed by a somatic and contemplative practice called Authentic Movement. She will offer a brief overview of two collaborative projects, one which is site-responsive (enter inhabit) and another which involves working with large-scale jewellery objects (flockOmania). She will also discuss a long-term solo dance making project (called perch) which formed the basis of her doctoral research into forming, returning to and deepening the relationship with movement material over an extended period of time.
