Hong Kong Wind Symphony

Hong Kong Wind Symphony (HKWS) is founded by a group of local enthusiastic wind musicians in the summer of 2012. The HKWS aims at promoting classical and high quality concert band music to the general public, and enhancing the appreciation of concert band music as well as its unique culture. Repertoires have been carefully selected and performed to the highest standard. The majority of the members of HKWS are professional musicians, together with the Music Director, Mr. Kent Lee, HKWS is characterized by the emphasis on the “Ensembleship” of their performances. Musicians are ready for serious and rigorous ensemble training in order to achieve the highest standard of performance.
