The Shadow Players

The Shadow Players is a theatre company formed by professors and graduates of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong, and our mission is to make Western classical literature approachable. For five years they performed at sold-out venues, and they were invited by the European Union Centre for Global Affairs to tour in Australia. Their production of Gogol’s The Government Inspector earned the remark: “This company is making a name for itself as a local company whose work is not to be missed.”
