Zhou Yi

Famous huqin and guqin virtuoso who obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in huqin and guqin and a Master’s Degree in huqin at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Relocated to Hong Kong in 2008 and employed by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO) as Co-Principal Huqin, Principal Erhu, Principal Gaohu and Guqin Soloist, she has gone on tour to more than 20 nations in Europe, Asia and North America. She is now the director of Rhythmic East Arts Group, the lecturer at Department of Chinese Music of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the examiner of Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and the member of Shanghai Musician Association.
