STORY SYNOPSIS

Taj Express follows the story of one man’s passion and another man’s genius. Young composer Shankar is given the task of writing the music for his first Bollywood movie.

He invites the audience into his music studio, meet his musicians and witness his struggles with his music and it’s only when he begins to follow in the footsteps of his idol, A.R. Rahman that he discovers his path to success. The production reveals the secrets of the world's most prolific film industry and the people behind the screen who make the magic in India's factory of dreams.

The script of the movie tells a love story between Kareena, a beautiful actress, and Arjun, a handsome hero of the streets. At first it seems that they are both from opposite worlds, but their love for dance brings them together. Arjun rescues young people from the streets and offers them training in classical dance. Kareena longs for freedom. Arjun knows the path she must take to find enlightenment. She must rediscover the essence of dance, poetry and meditation and the meaning of true love. For this discovery, she must leave Bollywood and the world she knows behind and board the Taj Express.
