In recent years, the development of the local arts and culture scene has flourished, with the completion of cultural venues integrating art and conservation such as the heritage buildings in Central, the establishment of major international exhibitions, art fairs and auctions, and the use of arts and cultural elements in commercial institutions, shopping malls and hotels. The new performing and visual arts venues set to open in the West Kowloon Cultural District will also increase the need for talent in the areas of cultural management and arts administration.
This talk invites practitioners to share their experience and to explore the qualities, passions and skillsets required for a career in the arts and culture field.
