【Music Night Kowloon：Samuel Barbour】TY Productions

That night we welcome singer-songwriter Samuel Alexander Barbour for an amazing night of gentle acoustic guitar songs. His original style is acoustic folk-pop with influences ranging from Jason Mraz, Adam Levine, Jose Gonzalez and Jack Johnson to James Taylor, Paul Simon, Jim Croce, Glen Campbell and Gerry Rafferty.

Songs from his debut 5-song EP, 'Hope (Love Never Dies)' released on the 8th March, 2019 have already been played on RTHK3 in Hong Kong and several radio stations in the UK.

Samuel is an active performer on the Hong Kong scene (RTHK3 Morning Brew-2017 & 2018, H2 Music Festival (2017 & 2018) Ukulele Federation (2019), Central Harbourfront (2017) and has several gigs lined up this year in both Hong Kong and his native Scotland.

Having written over 50 songs in different styles for both adults and his students Samuel is always happy to share his music with a wider audience and make his name primarily as a songwriter.
