Overview

- To provide a cooperative platform for local and overseas performing arts companies, arts festivals organizers, producers and directors of theatre for young audience
- To understand current status of theatre for young audience in Asia and overseas
- To promote the cooperation and exchanges of Asian and International theatre for young audience

The ATYA Congress & Performing Arts Platform is an exchange platform biennial for performing arts companies, arts festivals organizers, producers and directors of theatre for young audiences (TYA) in Asia. It is hoped that through this event, we will have more understanding, exchanges and cooperation for the trends of TYA in Asia and overseas. This year the Congress is organized by Ming Ri Institute for Arts Education, General Secretary of ATYA, and sponsored by Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The Congress will be held on 2 - 4 August, 2019 at Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) in Shek Kip Mei, Hong Kong. The Congress includes a seminar, sharing sessions on focus regions, showcases of local performances and exchange gatherings.
