Wanna know more about the intangible cultural heritage of Japan? No need to travel to Japan! Just visit the Exhibition Hall in the Low Block of Hong Kong City Hall!

About 100 masterpieces of traditional art and crafts of Japan, including ceramics, metalwork, lacquer work, paperwork, woodwork and textiles are on loan from Japanese master artisans for display at the exhibition. Painted porcelains, papercraft and woodcarvings created by local intangible cultural heritage practitioners are presented as well.

Apart from exhibits, we have also invited Japanese and local masters for a series of live demonstrations and talks! Don’t miss out!
