2020 Vocal Asia Festival –Asian Cup A Cappella Competition (EARLY BIRD)

⊙About the Competition

Asian Cup A Cappella Competition has been held during the Vocal Asia Festival since 2012. It aimed not only to explore the beauty of contemporary A Cappella music, but also to ignite singers’ passion toward A Cappella. In recent years, A Cappella has been developed in different ways throughout Asia, adding local music cultures into this western singing tradition. In order to encourage and promote such mixture of elements, Vocal Asia establishes this platform for Asian A Cappella groups to present their music, and furthermore, taking them to western world to exchange with different cultures.

 

⊙Date and Location

Date：August 13, 2020
Time：18:00 (GMT+8, Taiwan Standard Time)
Location：Performance Hall- Dadong Arts Center (Kaohsiung, Taiwan)

 

⊙Qualification

1. The competition is open to everyone; it is not required to register the Vocal Asia Festival.
2. All singers should be 16 years old or above, each group is made up from 3 to 8 members.

 

⊙Application

1. Registration Time: March 25, 2020 - May 29, 2020 (GMT+8, Taiwan Standard Time).
2. All registration materials and Entry Fee must be received before May 29, 2020. Any delay is considered as dropping out of the preliminary selection.

 

⊙Payment

1. The Entry Fee is $50 USD /per group, and is only be accepted through this link.
2. Please note that the price does not include handling fees.

3. No refund will be made once the payment is made.
