Zoe Siu

Knotting Artist and Designer

Zoe Siu graduated in Fashion Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She worked for international brands such as DKNY JEANS and LEVIS before as a designer. Later Siu grew interest in knot art and set up her own brand ZOEE in 2011. She enjoys incorporating traditional handcraft details into modern accessories, and creating chemistry through featuring the collisions between old and new elements.

Besides designing accessories and jewelries, Siu also explores the possibility of architecture through knotting, while she expands borders and reforms retail and gallery spaces through knot installations. These installations are bold as sculptures, but at the same time demonstrate complexity and meticulousness. As a strong promoter of knot art, Siu was invited by many international brands to create knotting workshops during their releases, such as Omega, Adidas, Uniqlo, Mikimoto, 45R, Marimekko etc. She also represented Hong Kong in international fairs before, such as "Athens Jewelry Week" in 2019, "London Craft Week" in 2017 and "Brussels Design September" in 2013.
