Overview

Our perception of time is relative and subject to each person’s definition. So, how do I comprehend the idea of ‘time’? I personify time and transform it into an animate being. It would then relentlessly remind me of the years I travelled, people I lost, things I once possessed, wrong decisions I made and achievements I attained…Sometimes I even think that time is a circulation of life’s growth or decay, which could be both emotional or rational. And my time is filled with memories from the past, present and future.

The works in this exhibition are centered around the commemoration of my grandfather and scenes from my childhood. I would like to share my profound feelings with viewers from both emotional and rational perspective, and also to contemplate the dear relationship between time and people.
