A distinguished concert pianist, recording artist, composer, educator and a respected cultural leader, Mr. Warren Lee made his televised début with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of six and his artistry has since brought him and his music to five continents, gracing stages of all sizes and forms, from a town hall in Tasmania to Carnegie Hall in New York. His discography includes 11 acclaimed recordings with over 15 million streams on Spotify alone. An award-winning composer known for his choral works for children, his music has been published by publishers in Hong Kong, North America and Europe. In recognition of his contributions to the musical arts, Mr. Lee received the prestigious Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in 2012, an Associateship from the Royal Academy of Music in 2015 and the Yale School of Music Distinguished Alumni Award in 2017, among others accolades.
A passionate lifelong learner with a growth mindset, Mr. Lee holds master degrees in music, intellectual property law as well as business administration. With an eye to connect people and ideas, he serves as an advisor for a number of music businesses, organisations and charities and is a business case writer for HKUST School of Business. Mr. Lee is an alumnus of St. Paul’s Co-educational College, where he was appointed Music Director in 2008, a role that has since evolved and expanded into the Creative Arts.
