Lay Chin Wong

Passionate about drama, majored in Directing in the National Arts University of Taipei. She adores the performing arts, to the point of believing that it is a form of art reflecting human’s lives. She was a director-in-house / The Actor Studio Academy in-charge from 2012 to 2017 with Performing Arts Centre of Penang (penangpac). Now she is a lecturer in New Era University College and Artistic Director of Move Creativ. She created a monologue series “The Storyteller” had been traveled to Taiwan, the second series of The Storyteller “The Storyteller: …...because you are a woman” also had been invited to performed in Kaoxiong, Taipei and Macau. In 2020, “The Storyteller: …...because you are a woman” awarded “The best Original Script” in the 17th ADA Drama Award.
