The Hollowed is Grad Leung's Butoh piece which he performed many times in Hong Kong and Japan. With the piece he fully identified with the oppressed who have been hollowed - nothing left - no freedom, no living space, no discourse right, no dignity, no right to choose, with emotional expression, desire and even breath all expropriated.

Grad attempts in "The Hollowed Man 2.0" to blend the Indian classical dance of Kathak (performed virtuousoly by Bangla Desh's Annesha BISWAS Agni ) with his Butoh. Grad sees there is the presence of God in Kathak and his butoh dancing is an act of asking and questioning God.
