Andrew Cheung majored in Applied Art (costume art) at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) degree. He worked in fashion design after graduation and designed festive costumes for Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited. He also designed costume for Opera production, Dido and Aneneas, Romeo and Juliet and Il Trovatore.
2015 got the Diploma in Chinese Painting Certificate at the School of Professional and Continuing Education at The University of Hong Kong.
