Tiffany Lau

Tiffany Lau is a Hong Kong-based costume designer, scenic artist, stylist and art director with 10 years of theatre backstage experience. She works on costume design and theatre makeup since 2011. In a theatre art career spanning two focuses, she specializes in costume and set design, and explore scenic art for 2 years. She attended HKDI Fashion Styling and Photography in 2014 and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, BA( Hons ) Theatre & Entertainment Arts, graduated with First Class Honours.

She has a deep passion for costume and art history, period style. She found the love for fabric, oriental art and research on the historical archive. After she studies in HKAPA and she has the opportunity to work on severely project, such as City Contemporary Dance Company X Zelia Tan "Over Here?" as a costume designer. Making Film Production Ltd. "The Deer and The Cauldron" as a production design assistant. Chung Ying Theatre Company, "Frankenstein: Relive" as a textile artist, painter. She works on the Replica of William Turner's paintbox for Tate Modern X HKMoA X ADA.

Tiffany's profound ability to become authentically involved in the educational work for 5 years, such as teaching theatre design and makeup for secondary school and visual art and painting for primary school.

As a curator, she creates "Touch As First Touch – CCCD Touch art space" . She also work on WKCDA X ELDT "Hello, Baoyu", WKCDA X On&On Theatre Workshop "Rimini Protokoll: 100% Hong Kong" as creative coordinator.
