Tyler Cheng

Tyler Cheng started learning the piano at the age of six. He is now the orchestra assistant manager of the Greater Bay Area Philharmonic. He gained the qualifications of Trinity ATCL and DipABRSM in 2015. He also formed a quartet called Enchanté Chamber, which performs regularly, online and offline.

He has had success in several piano solo competitions: Fifth Prize in the Putra International Piano Competition (2019), Gold Award in the 16th Youth Artistic Competition Nationwide Final (Winter) Overseas Taoli Cup (2020), 2nd runner-up in the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition (2020), and 1st Place in the Wien International Young Musical Music Competition (2021).
