LEE Wai Ching Vivian

Vivian Lee completed the Master of Performance degree with distinction at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as a recipient of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund. Prior to that, She obtained the bachelor’s degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship. Her teachers include Angel Cheung, Kam Shui, Meyrick Alexander and Daniel Jemison.

Vivian has performed widely overseas and has been invited to be the guest principal bassoon for KBS Symphony Orchestra in Seoul. Locally, she has been a freelance player with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Hong Kong Sinfonietta, as well as other ensembles including Hong Kong Wind Kamerata, Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia and Opera Hong Kong etc.

Vivian is also keen on teaching. She is the bassoon tutor and ensemble coach in numerous schools, as well as the HKAPA Junior Music Programme.
