Nazar Tabachyshyn

Nazar Tabachyshyn is a multi-talented performer, conductor and event organizer. As a member of the Gold Accordion Ensemble, he won First Prize in international music competitions in the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Estonia. In 2022, he performed in the production of Maria de Buenos Aires with City Contemporary Dance Company. 2023 saw his solo concert Tango in Paris with City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. A graduate of the Petro Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy of Ukraine, he has taught and conducted folk instrument orchestras at the Academy. He was also the founder and conductor of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral Vocal Ensemble in Kyiv. Tabachyshyn has been based in Hong Kong since 2014 and founded the tango band Cafe 852 and released a well-received album, Camino de Tango, in 2017.
