Beethoven's works written for cello and piano are monumental. There are plenty of recordings of his complete works for the ensemble that are accessible. Live performance of the complete set is, however, rarely made possible. On 1st May, 12 local musicians currently active in performing and teaching will perform Beethoven's complete works of cello and piano on the stage of the concert hall, Hong Kong City Hall.
