Hongkong-based clarinettist Theresa Lam Pui-yee enjoys creating musical interactions as a chamber and orchestral musician. Her engagements include performing in HKAF’s “From Literature to Music” and Young Composers’ Workshop, HKCG’s Contemporary Music Appreciation Workshop, Tom Lee Live and GalaMusica. Chamber highlights include interactive outdoor concerts of Piacere Winds and performances with Chromatic Collective. She also performs frequently with Ponte Orchestra and China Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra recently. She was a concerto soloist with Hong Kong Elite Chamber Orchestra ( 2021 ) and Chung Chi Orchestra ( 2018 ).
Graduated from her M.M. Clarinet Performance degree at Michigan State University, Theresa studied with Dr. Guy Yehuda and performed with the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Musique 21 and Opera Orchestra. She completed her bachelor study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with Martin Choy.
