Angelyne Wong

Angelyne Wong, a secondary 6 student studying at Diocesan Girls’ School, started studying guzheng at the age of 6 under the tutor of Miss Chan Tin Chi, and is currently furthering her studies under the mentorship of Professor Xu Lingzi. She has won various awards, including the championship of the Advanced Guzheng Solo category of the 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, the championship of the RTHK Radio 4 Chinese Instruments Scholarship of the 73th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, and the championship of the Original Composition category in the 74th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. Furthermore, her composition work was rewarded Outstanding Composition Award, Best Chinese Instrumental Writing Award, and Best Creative Idea Award in the EDB Gala Musica School Chamber Composition 2023. She also has numerous experiences onstage, and performed as a guzheng soloist, accompanied by the symphony orchestra, in the DGS Concerto Concert."
