In 2023, Elaine started to explore the use of blueprint developer (cyanotype) to capture the behaviour of light and shadow, and then she would combine it with ink and color to complete the piece. The effects of this experimental exercise and creative process is always surprising, and the blueprint results are wonderful and stunning, prompting her to constantly seek new breakthroughs and creative space that inspires the heart. The soothing blueprint artwork with graded shades heals and calms and is her all time favorite.
