The Faust Festival 2024!
Performances by Faust members aged 4 to 16. A dramatic feast for the whole family!
The Faust Festival is our annual theatrical extravaganza, celebrating our members' talents and learning, taking place each May and June. Performances are many and varied, with a wide selection to choose from.
Each member of our Term-Time Drama Programme, aged 4 and above, will take part in the Festival (except Tots and Stage Group). This is a wonderful opportunity for our budding actors to experience the buzz of performing in a dedicated performance space and share their theatrical skills with family, friends and the public! This also provides our members with great insight into everything involved in a theatrical production.
This year, we are very excited to present a selection of show-stopping extravaganzas, with performances spread out during our three-week Festival. Performances include: Peter Rabbit, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Town Mice and Country Mice, From Neverland to Wonderland, Hercules Zero to Hero, Jane Austen vs Hollywood, When Oliver met Annie, Magic School Musical!
Whether you are looking for a retelling of a classic children’s story or a new, creative and innovative show for young adults and family groups alike, this year’s Faust Festival has something for everyone.

Peter Rabbit
Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail are good little bunnies who are very well behaved, but Peter is a very naughty bunny who is always up to no good. Find out what happens to the naughty Peter Rabbit as he explores Mr. McGregor’s garden and meets lots of other animals, some friendly and some not so friendly…and gets up to all sorts of mischief!
The Elves and the Shoemaker
The Shoemaker family’s shoe shop is empty and quiet. They don’t have enough materials to make good shoes to sell, so that they can earn a living. Enter a team of helpful elves who are ready to do all they can to help! They wield their magic with the shoes, mesmerising the entire kingdom and transforming the community in unexpected ways.
Town Mice and Country Mice
In true reality TV style, two different families get to experience a complete lifestyle change! The well-to-do Town Mice family are completely lost in the countryside while the Country Mice family are overwhelmed in the big city. All of this chaos is well worth it though, for some good, old-fashioned television fun!
From Neverland to Wonderland
Captain Hook and his rascal pirates have invaded Wonderland and are causing all sorts of mischief! It’s up to Peter Pan, Wendy, Alice, the White Rabbit, the citizens of Wonderland, and the Lost Boys and Lost Girls to team up to stop Hook and his crew in this action-packed fantasy adventure!
Hercules Zero to Hero
We present to you a fun, modern view of Hercules, the iconic ancient Greek hero! This is a fast-paced, action-packed retelling that is filled with laughs and daring adventure! There will also be some unexpected twists and turns in the story that will surprise and delight audiences.
Jane Austen vs Hollywood
What if 19th Century English author, Jane Austen, was invited to a modern Hollywood studio and her classic, critically acclaimed novels were pitched as audience-pleasing blockbuster movies? We will see what the brutal studio system has done to Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice in this hilarious, fast-paced comedy.
When Oliver met Annie
The titanic, turbulent and triumphant tale of two classic musical theatre characters! This is an original tale depicting a very unexpected crossover. English runaway, Oliver Twist, and his friends escape to New York and fall into cahoots with American troublemaker, Annie Bennett, and her friends, in a fun comedic mash-up that showcases the best of both of these musical worlds!
Magic School Musical
Teenagers face the stress of homework, exams, gossip, bullying, peer pressure and more at a regular school. What if we add a little magic to the mix? Magic School Musical is a light-hearted parody that is filled with punchy songs about the trials and tribulations of being an insecure teenager brimming with potions, potential, and powers.
