Photography serves as a playground for Pater, who delights in the union and reconstruction of images captured in Hong Kong and Japan. Through this process, he creates endless possibilities that embody immortal and unbounded outcomes of emotions and states of mind. Utilizing a distinctive artistic technique, Pater either punches holes or adds colored dots to his works. This exploration seeks to instinctively uncover the divine connections between people and places, as well as among individuals themselves.
Rorce, on the other hand, champions the originality of photography through his self-constructed camera obscura. He develops his aesthetic works from simple, raw images captured with this ancient optical device, now enhanced by the latest technology: Artificial Intelligence. During the exhibition, he invites visitors to explore the world through the lens of his camera obscura—an inverted reality that, to him, mirrors human life: a journey filled with both enjoyment and complexity.
