Ryan Wan

Ryan Wan Tsz Chun earned his degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts studied with John Schertle, the co-principal clarinetist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Then he went to the Royal conservatoire de Mons, Belgium for master’s degree studying with Ronald van Spaendonck. After his return, he was selected to be participated in the Orchestral Academy of Hong Kong.

Ryan is a local active orchestral player, appears in many different orchestras as both principal and guest clarinetist, such as Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong String Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Hong Kong Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Macao Orchestra and so on. He also performed around Asia and Europe touring with the Asian Youth Orchestra in 2019 and 2022. He joined the CLARINAIZATION Ensemble in 2023.
