Wong Yin-ting, Yannie

Yannie obtained her Bachelor of Music Degree at CUHK under the tutelage of Ms. Zhang Ying, majored in pipa. She also received training of pipa from Ms. Cheung Yim Yu. She is the section member of Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong YWCA Chinese Orchestra and Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association. She has also been active in Yue Pipa Ensemble. She is the awardee of Pipa Professional Group Gold Prize of 2023 ‘Dunhuang Award’ for Chinese Plucked String Music Performance Competition. She is currently the pipa virtuoso in residence of Music Assembly.
