"I was born in Greece in the quiet seaside area of Voula. I studied classical piano and composition in my native Athens before getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Film Scoring. I noodled on the piano and transcribed film scores as a lonely teenager.

Between 2009 - 2019 I lived in New York. I played in restaurants, then weddings. then came venues and festivals and soon after followed international tours, collaborations and all sorts of beauties.

My love for film scores, orchestra, live audiences and my curiosity for technology and global music has led me from one diverse project to another, introducing me to extraordinary people & places all over the globe.

I hope it never ends."

Magda has collaborated with many renowned musicians and bands, including Gilberto Gil, Jacob Collier, Snarky Puppy, Vicente Garcia, Bokante, Ziggy Marley, Roberto Fonseca, Lucy Woodward, Fatoumata Diawara, Rita Indiana, Visitante, Danny Vera, José James, Metropole Orkest, WDR Big Band.
