Evelyn Wan

Dr. Evelyn Wan is a dramaturg and artist-scholar based between Hong Kong and the Netherlands. She is trained in contemporary performance practice, dance, and dramaturgy, and is a founding member of the artistic collective If Time's Limited (HK). She works on inter-Asian maritime histories, decolonial spiritualities, and emerging technologies. In 2025, she is Artistic Fellow in the "Living with AI" Residency Programme at the School of Journalism and Communication, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Wan works as Assistant Professor in Media, Arts, and Society at Utrecht University, and leads the MA Programme Arts & Society. She is also a Board Member of Performance Studies international (PSi).
