The concert begins with Korean contemporary composer Unsuk Chin's "Allegro ma non troppo," sparking a conversation with environmental sounds. It continues with Hatzis's "Fertility Rites" and Cleare's "A Unit of Wrest," exploring themes of trauma and justice. The highlight is local artist Cheryl Hui's music and visual work, which captures complex emotions through dialogue with victims. The performance concludes with Ewazen's marimba solo "Northern Lights," inviting the audience to reflect and find inner reconciliation.
