Monique Du

Monique is born in Liaoning, China. She began piano lessons at the age of four and stared her professional journey in Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. With an outstanding academic performance, Monique was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2008, under the tutelage of renowned educator, the Artist in Residence of HKAPA, Professor Eleanor Wong. Having received seven academic scholarships, Monique completed the Diploma, Bachelor, Master Degree in Performance and a visiting-student at HKAPA. Apart from performing and collaborating with different instrumental artists, she enjoys sharing her musical thoughts with others, and she has given some lecture-recitals, talks. Moreover, she was a jury member at various piano competitions.
