This summer, let your child become a community designer through a fun, hands-on program that combines creativity, play, and real-world learning.
In this 4-session workshop, students will:
Discover what makes great public spaces
Explore the neighborhood with a design scavenger hunt
Play inclusive design games
Build a mini model of their dream community space
Present their ideas like future architects and planners
No prior design experience needed — just curiosity and imagination!
Who is this for?
Children and teens ages 8–15 who love art, creativity, and exploring the city.
Course Details:
Dates: August 4, 11, 18, 25 ( Mondays )
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Urban Room, Quarry Bay
Small Class: 4–8 students
Language: Conducted in English ( with Cantonese support )

Adverse Weather Arrangements:
Typhoon Signal:
If the observatory issues a Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above within 3 hours before the event starts, the event will be canceled.
If all typhoon signals are removed or changed to Signal No. 1 within 3 hours before the event starts, the event will proceed as scheduled.
Rainstorm Warning Signal:
If the observatory issues a red or black rainstorm warning signal within 3 hours before the event starts, the event will be canceled.
If all rainstorm warning signals are removed or changed to a yellow rainstorm warning signal within 3 hours before the event starts, the event will proceed as scheduled.
