"Lifetime Memory Eng Only #01 Doujinshi Convention" is an experimental event designed for non-native Chinese-speaking doujin culture enthusiasts and creators in Hong Kong. Its purpose is to provide a more accessible occasion for communication and to promote doujin creation culture.

Originally, "doujin" referred to a group of people with the same aspirations or a community of like-minded individuals. Later, the term evolved to mean "original, self-published creative works that are free from commercial influence" or "autonomous" creations (as cited from Wikipedia). We believe the term "doujin" in "doujinshi convention" should blend both these meanings while also incorporating an "otaku" flair: to discover and share more creations from doujin circles with niche or rare hobbies that are seldom seen locally.

This event will offer booths for both commercial and doujin circles to sell various types of goods, such as official merchandise, doujinshi, original works, doujin photo books, and handmade crafts.
We hope to encourage doujin creators to produce a wider variety of works, and to that end, we will seek to collaborate with various commercial organizations to support our doujin creators.
