Elizaveta Koshkina

Elizaveta KOSHKINA is a Russian violinist, who studied at the Moscow Conservatoire: orchestra faculty, violin class (professor Sergey Kravchenko), postgraduate study, faculty "ensemble of contemporary music". Elizaveta participated in prestigious international festivals, including "Francophonie" and L'arte della prospettiva (New Music Studio Forum, Moscow), Klangspuren Schwaz (Austria), Gaudeamus Musiekweek (Netherlands), Schumannfest (Germany), "Platform" K. serebrennikov, "Golden Mask", "Moscow Autumn" and "Another Space" (Moscow), Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), Diaghilev Festival (Perm) and others.

Since 2011 to 2020 she has been participated in the world-famous Lucerne Festival. Elizaveta performed on the famous stages: the Great, Small and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow Conservatoire, Moscow Zaryadye Concert Hall, Svetlanovsky and Chamber Halls (MMoscow International House of Music), Tchaikovsky Moscow Philharmonic, Great Hall of the Sirius Science and Art Park (Sochi), Yeltsin Center (Yekaterinburg), The Arsenal (Nizhny Novgorod), Garage Center for Contemporary Art (Moscow), Lucerne Culture and Convention Centre (Switzerland), Pleyel Concert Hall (Paris), Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Dresdner State Opera, Duesseldorf Tonhalle Concert Hall (Germany) and many others. She collaborated with orchestra and ensembles under the direction of P. Boulez, P. Eotvos, S. Malkki, M. Pintscher, D. Robertson, R. Chailly, E. Poppe, P. Heras-Casado, M. Chiachiarini, B. Furrer, T. Currentzis, V. Jurovsky, F. Chizhevsky. In 2011-2020 Elizaveta regularly collaborated with the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, Stanislavsky Electrotheater. In 2014, as a soloist, Elizaveta participated in a project with a famous New York band Bang On a Can, at various times - in projects with Ensemble "Studio of New Music", baroque music ensemble Pratum Integrum, Questa Musical ensemble, Hong Kong Contemporary Music Ensemble. Elizaveta has recordings on CD (Fancy music, Melodia labels). Along with the concert, Elizaveta pays great attention to teaching activities. In 2023-2025 she taught violin in the Fine Strings studio in Shenzhen, since 2025 she has been teaching in Hong Kong in the Russian Sound Music Academy. There are laureates of international competitions among her students. In 2024 Elizaveta received the Outstanding Teacher award at the XIV Hong Kong International Violin Competition.
