Founding Overall Mother Wan Sassy Savage

Wan Sassy Savage (they/she) is a Hong Kong-born, Melbourne-based artist, ballroom educator, dancer, performer and model. With over eight years in ballroom culture, they established the first Kiki House in Hong Kong in 2020, now extended to Australia as the international Kiki House of Sassy Savage. They were formerly Mother for the Iconic House of Chanel (2019-2025). Wan teaches Vogue Femme, Femme Choreography and Runway, and has been active in queer youth outreach across Melbourne universities. They have performed voguing internationally, introduced ballroom culture into street dance scene, judged international balls and won grand prizes worldwide.
