Project Overview
Since 2022, HKICF has launched the Virtual Choir Project, encouraging schools to give back to society through music and to highlight the transformative power of choral singing. Each year, the project partners with different organisations to address diverse social issues. By singing together online, we seek to spread love and care, promote mental health awareness, advocate for healthy living habits, and bring positive energy to the community.
Virtual Choir Project 2026 takes Sports and Health as its theme. We are honoured to collaborate with InspiringHK Sports Foundation, a local charity dedicated to empowering youths through sports. We are also delighted to partner with "Every Life Is A Song", with its co-founders Miss Vicky Fung and Professor Chow Yiu Fai composing the project's theme song. Joining hands with the TWGHs Kitty Woo Music & Arts Development Centre, we aim to extend the reach of this initiative to more young people across Hong Kong—bringing music and sports together to inspire health, vitality, and unity in our society.
Application Detail
Virtual Choir Project 2026 welcomes all friends who love singing and enjoy sports to participate individually. Participants will not only appear in the final video production of the Online Choir, but each will also receive a gift pack worth nearly HK$400 and a participation certificate, as well as an invitation to attend the Online Choir 2026 Premiere. Let us join together with our voices and energy to create a musical and sports celebration that belongs to us!
Application Deadline
31 March 2026
Video Submission
Participants will later receive via email the learning materials for the online choir song (including singing and dance parts) as well as the video submission guidelines. Participants are requested to practice with the materials and submit the video according to the guidelines by 30 April 2026.
Premiere Screening
The Virtual Choir Project 2026 Premiere Screening will take place on 11 August 2026. The time and venue will be announced later. The organizers will confirm attendance with participants at a later stage. We sincerely hope everyone will show enthusiastic support and join together to witness this wonderful achievement!
Terms & Conditions
- No cancellations, refunds or changes can be made on confirmed application.
- Please confirm that all the submitted information is true and correct. The organiser will list the name of the participant in the rolling credits of the video.
- The final length of video adapted or screen size presented in the final product will depend on the organiser’s artistic consideration. The organiser also reserves the right to adjust or edit the submissions.
- The organiser reserves the right of final decision in the event of any dispute.
