【Made in JCCAC】is a once-a-month cultural experience organised by the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre ( JCCAC ). It consists of two parts:
JCCAC and studio tour
Creative art experience workshop
A factory-turned-vertical arts village, JCCAC is a local landmark and a product of the successful architectural revitalisation initiative which rejuvenated the heritage building and gave it new purpose and meaning through public engagement in the arts. In each edition of the guided tour, our tour guide will take participants on a journey of exploration through myriad exhibition spaces to soak up JCCAC's vibrant and creative atmosphere.
For the creative art experience workshop, the theme is different each month. Each time a JCCAC artist would share experience and insights into their fields of expertise, provide some on-site demonstration and lead visitors to try their hands at a bit of light experience creative work in an arts-themed workshop. Visitors may also have the rare opportunity of taking a glimpse at the unique work environment of artists' studios.
Early registration for participation is advised, as the tour and workshop groups are kept small and intimate.
A different theme is offered for the workshop in each month. The themes are revised every three months and announced on JCCAC' s social platforms - do follow to receive the latest news.
*If you have participated in the JCCAC guided tour before and only want to attend the workshop this time, participants can register through the same link. Generally, the workshop meeting time is around 3pm. Participants will receive a reminder message two days before the event to confirm the meeting time and location.
*Fee for【Made in JCCAC】is the same regardless joining the Guide Tour or not. You may select the favourable session when register in Artmate link.
