Stanley Yeung is a distinguished cellist and conductor whose career spans international stages and prestigious orchestras. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, he has performed extensively across the UK, Hong Kong, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Finland, including notable appearances at Le French May in 2019 and the launch of The Cello Adventure in 2023.
As a versatile orchestral musician, Stanley serves as principal solo cellist with the Pan-Asia Orchestra and sub-principal cellist with the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra. He has also been a guest cellist with the Hong Kong Strings Orchestra, bringing his technical precision and expressive depth to collaborative ensembles.
In the realm of conducting, Stanley has led acclaimed groups such as the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Taipei City Symphony Orchestra, Bucharest Royal Camerata, and Berlin Sinfonietta. His leadership extends to his role as assistant conductor of the Hong Kong-Vienna Music Festival Orchestra in 2016, where he demonstrated a keen ability to inspire and shape dynamic performances.
