Judy Honor, a classically trained artist and soprano, obtained her Music Performance (Singing) Diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Her passion for singing and music blossomed during her time in the church choir. Since the year 2000, she has embarked on extensive travels in Europe and Asia with The University of the East Chorale.
Judy's crystalline soprano voice has graced the Chorale's concerts and competitions throughout Europe and Asia. They have accumulated numerous accolades in the Philippines, Europe, and South Korea. Some notable highlights include their triumph at the International Choral Competition in Gorizia, Italy in 2003, where they were awarded the prestigious Publikumspreis. Additionally, they secured the Grand Prix at the Busan International Choral Festival and Competition in South Korea for two consecutive years. In July 2013 and 2016, she was invited to take part in an international choral festival in Japan.
In 2009, Judy joined the UP College of Music, studying under the guidance of Ms. Maria Carmila Lopez-Molina, one of the most sought-after sopranos in the Philippines. While pursuing her music studies, she continued to excel in solo and choral performances, as well as teaching choral groups and providing studio singing lessons.
From 2013 to 2017, Judy served as a faculty member in the Voice Department at Nagaland University in India. Subsequently, she became an artist at The Venetian Macau, where she contributed her talents from 2017 to 2020.
Furthermore, since 2019, Judy has been a licensed Kindermusik Teacher. Presently, she imparts her expertise as a Creative Arts Teacher and Learning and Development Coordinator at Baumhaus Hongkong.
